DECEMBER FUN!

Wow ALOT has happened the last couple of weeks! First TJ and I found a house that I absolutly fell in love with. So i went and looked at it while TJ was a work and I fell in love again so we moved in a week later. Well the week I was supposed to be packing to move in I got called into work every day but one so I packed all of our clothes in that one day and that was all so when saturday finally came we were packing as we threw stuff in the car not the best idea and i would never reccomend it to anyone. In the middle of all this commotion I also took my state CNA certification test on tuesday and saturday i got my results and passed I am so excited!

My new blog

Wow I cannot believe TJ and I have been married for almost four months!  It seems like we have gone through a whole lifetime in just this few short months. We are both going to school at Stevens Henager in Orem and we would not reccommend this school to anyone ever! It is very over priced and we do not get the education that someone at a University would even though they say you will. It is very frusterating! We have taken two certifications so far the CPR/AED certification and the EKG certification. Up next is our CNA cert. I am taking mine on tuesday and I am freaking out! It didn't help that Tj called me and said you better pass your test the first time because a girl we work with who is a good nursing assistant didn't pass the practical part and she was suspended from work for awhile. So now I am freaking out even more! So hopefully I get certified. Thanksgiving this year was pretty great Tj and I went to Kingman Arizona to visit my parents it was the first vacation we have had together as a married couple. We made it a three day drive and we stopped in delta the first night and stayed with grandma and grandpa willoughby then we went to vegas the next day and we went to the strip or around the strip because we got very lost and the sad thing is we were on las vegas blvd until we got to circus circus and we turned and we never were able to find the strip again it was so annoying. The next day we were going to meet my parents at the Las Vegas Temple and my dad told me to get off at charlston and we got off the wrong one so we found charlston and we started going west which is not the right direction but we didn't notice that until we were in the mountains then we had to turn around and go to the complete other side of Vegas it was not fun at all it wasted a whole tank of gas! But we finally made it to the temple! It was gorgeous I love going to the temple even just on the grounds the spirit is so strong and then going inside it is overwhelming It is the best feeling in the whole entire world! I would love to go every day if i could. Maybe when Tj and I have two cars I will. anyways we went to the temple and then we went to olive garden for my late birthday dinner it was so yummy. Then my dad drove us down the strip so we could get the experience of vegas it was pretty awesome but we didn't want to stop because TJ and I were so tired so we drove on to Kingman, Arizona. That was the first time TJ and I had ever seen my parents new house and I loved it! It was nice and warm at their house. While we were there my dad asked me to go to his high school biology class and talk about college and married life and try to motivate them to get good grades and what not .... I am going to have to say public speaking is not my strong point. I didn't know what to say and to make it worse you could tell that his classes could care less what I had to say. After the horror of talking to three of his classes TJ and my mom came and picked me up and I went back to my parents house and cooked thanksgiving dinner for my family and the missionaries and I must say I did a pretty good job it all tasted really really good even the pie that TJ made. The next day Tj and my dad were able to go on missionary splits and they taught one family which ended up getting baptized the next weekend. My mom said the spirit was so strong there. any way TJ and I came home the day before thanksgiving because we both had to work the next day. So that was pretty much our thanksgiving. I just want to end this post by saying how greatful I am to have such a loving husband and family I have been very blessed with them. I am also greatful for the gospel in my life it has shown me many times how lucky I am.
